Jordan Darnell is a Nashville-based tenor and Commercial Music (Performance – Voice) major at Belmont University. Known for a warm, dynamic voice, he blends the polish of classical training with the versatility of pop and soul. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Jordan’s artistic foundation spans choir, show choir, competitive dance, church performance, and creative media. He began his studies in Music Education at the University of Alabama before transferring to Belmont to pursue commercial music. His sound draws inspiration from artists such as Michael Bublé and Adam Lambert, combining expressive storytelling with vibrant stage presence. Performance highlights include serving as Music Director for Tune In A Cappella, solo performances with University Singers, professional church engagements, and an upcoming performance with Andrea Bocelli. Jordan is also a member of SONUS, a pre-professional modern a cappella ensemble based in Nashville, and continues to develop his artistry through performance, collaboration, and upcoming recital work.

Described as a tenor with warmth, versatility, and natural stage charisma, Jordan Darnell is an emerging commercial music artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. His artistry lives at the intersection of classical vocal training and contemporary performance, blending influences from Michael Bublé, Adam Lambert, and modern pop into a sound that is both refined and accessible.

Raised in Alabama, Jordan’s musical roots began early through choir and dance. At Oak Mountain High School, he held leadership roles including Section Leader and Choir Manager, while also performing as a featured dancer and singer and earning national recognition through the Applause Dance Competition. He continued developing his craft at the University of Alabama, where he sang with University Singers, served as PR Chair, and was selected as Marketing and Music Director for Tune In A Cappella. During this time, he delivered standout solo performances of works by Harry Styles, Hozier, and Daniel Caesar, demonstrating his ability to move fluidly across genres.

Jordan’s professional experiences include serving as a featured soloist at Northport Methodist Church and participating in multiple masterclasses with respected voice pedagogues Dr. Kenneth Bozeman and Dr. Christopher Withrow. His repertoire spans sacred works such as You Raise Me Up and Holy Forever to contemporary anthems like As It Was and Movement, reflecting his stylistic range and emotional versatility.

Now based in Nashville, Jordan is continuing his degree in Commercial Music Performance at Belmont University. Alongside his studies, he contributes creatively through his Federal Work Study Scholarship with the Gallery of Iconic Guitars and is a member of SONUS, a pre-professional modern a cappella ensemble. He is also preparing for upcoming recital performances and professional collaborations, including a performance with Andrea Bocelli.

With a voice rooted in authenticity and expressive storytelling, Jordan is carving out a distinct artistic identity—one that values connection, versatility, and the power of music to move people across genres and spaces.
